What is the Western Union Foundation Fellowship?

The Western Union Foundation Fellowship is a fully-funded initiative designed to empower social entrepreneurs with the skills and experience necessary to enhance access to economic opportunities and accelerate their impact. Over the course of 16 weeks, participants will engage in a dynamic program aimed at fostering community integration, navigating the evolving landscape of work, and creating lasting change in their communities.

What Does the Fellowship Offer?

Participants in the Western Union Foundation Fellowship will have the opportunity to:

1. Gain Essential Skills: Through curated workshops, mentorship, and resources, fellows will develop crucial skills to drive their ventures forward.
2. Access Seed Funding: $36,000 in seed funding will be distributed among select fellows based on their progress and impact throughout the program.
3. Foster Community Integration: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, building networks that extend beyond borders.
4. Navigate Changing Work Dynamics: Learn to adapt and thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy.
5. Create Lasting Impact: Develop strategies and initiatives to make a tangible difference in marginalized communities worldwide.

Program Details:

• Duration: The fellowship is part-time and runs from August 8th, 2024, to November 19th, 2024.
• Format: Hosted virtually, allowing participants to engage from anywhere in the world.
