Overview:
The Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) invites journalists from low- and middle-income countries to attend and report on COP29. Up to 20 journalists will be selected for this immersive fellowship, covering the climate negotiations and gaining insights from seasoned journalists and experts.
Fellowship Logistics:
– Dates: November 9 – 24, 2024
– Coverage: Entire duration of COP29 in Baku
– Benefits: Airfare, accommodation, meals, insurance, ground transportation, and logistical support provided
– Pre-COP virtual workshop and on-ground activities included
Eligibility:
– Professional journalists reporting from eligible countries
– Proficiency in English
– Previous experience covering climate change issues
– Commitment to attend COP29 and participate in all fellowship activities
– Letter of support from an editor confirming publication/broadcast
