Join the Global Schools Advocates Program and Create a More Sustainable World in Your Classroom

Global Schools is inviting teachers and school leaders from around the world to join our Advocates Program and receive the training and resources needed to integrate sustainable development into their classrooms.

What is the Global Schools Advocates Program?

Our flagship initiative, the Advocates Program, is a cohort-style program designed for educators who want to incorporate themes of sustainable development into their teaching. Developed with insights from over 220 sustainable development experts and 40+ educators, the program supports schools in integrating sustainable development into curricula, operations, and pedagogy.

Program Components:

  1. Training: Enhance your understanding of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) through a comprehensive online training program. Learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and gain ideas to integrate ESD into your classroom. The training takes place online, is asynchronous, and is expected to take approximately 10-15 hours.
  2. Introduce ESD to School Community: Educate your students, department, and school leadership about ESD. Conduct workshops to inspire other teachers and introduce sustainable development to your students using provided resources and methodologies.
  3. Integrate ESD in the School Community: Implement lessons and activities within your classroom or entire school community to educate students about sustainable development and inspire others to take action.
