Website/Social Media Writing Internship

IPI is looking for a talented individual to join our Communications Team for a full-time, six-month paid internship starting in June 2024. As a Website/Social Media Writing Intern, you’ll play a crucial role in creating compelling content for the IPI website and social media platforms.

Responsibilities Include:
– Assisting with producing website content and social media posts
– Implementing social media outreach strategies
– Conducting research as directed by the Communications Team
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in international affairs or related field
– Demonstrated ability to write about international relations
– Strong knowledge of web usability and social media
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation: $16.00 per hour, full-time (40 hours a week)

Editorial Internship

Are you passionate about editing and writing on global issues? Join the IPI Publications Team for a full-time, six-month paid internship starting in late June. As an Editorial Intern, you’ll assist in producing policy papers and articles for IPI’s online publication, the Global Observatory.

Responsibilities Include:
– Copyediting and proofreading IPI publications
– Assisting with the dissemination of publications on social media
– Conducting publications-related administrative tasks
– Other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in international affairs or related field
– Outstanding editing and writing abilities
– Good eye for design and formatting
– Knowledge of Chicago style (desirable)

Compensation: $16.00 per hour, full-time (40 hours a week)
