🔍 Overview: Join Stanford University’s Digital Civil Society Lab as a postdoctoral fellow for a 1-year appointment (renewable once). Fellows may be cross-affiliated with a Stanford department based on their disciplinary focus.

💰 Fellowship Details:

  • Stipend: $75,000/year

  • PhD by July 1, 2024
  • Open to diverse disciplines: social sciences, humanities, law, computer science, and engineering

🌐 About DCSL: Exploring the impact of digital technologies on civil society, DCSL engages in multidisciplinary research across organizations, technology, policy, and values.

📚 Research Focus: Challenges and opportunities in digital infrastructures, software, and hardware affecting civil society’s core principles.

🔄 Lab Expectations: Active participation in seminars, teaching, and lab activities.

  • Jan 15, 2024: Application Closes
  • Feb 2024: Interviews
  • Mar 2024: Offers Extended
