Apply for the Youth for Impactful Philanthropy (YIP) Fellowship(Fully-funded)

Elevate Children Funders Group (ECFG) is excited to announce the launch of the Youth for Impactful Philanthropy (YIP) Fellowship, a unique opportunity for young leaders aged 18-25 to shape the future of philanthropy. The fellowship aims to elevate the voices of youth within the philanthropic sector and amplify their perspectives in addressing issues affecting children and youth globally.

Why Youth Engagement Matters: While ECFG has been dedicated to elevating child and youth issues within philanthropy, the voice of young people themselves has often been overlooked. The YIP Fellowship seeks to change this by providing a platform for young changemakers to contribute their insights and ideas, ultimately enhancing the effectiveness of support for children and youth worldwide.

About Elevate Children Funders Group (ECFG): ECFG is a network of 27 philanthropic organizations worldwide that provide grants to organizations supporting children and youth. Founded to foster collaboration and learning among funders, ECFG serves as a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in philanthropy. The organization believes in the power of collective action to create positive change for children and youth.

The YIP Fellowship Experience: The YIP Fellowship is a 12-month program designed for youth leaders navigating the transition from adolescence to professional life. Fellows will have the opportunity to co-design the fellowship during its pilot year and engage in capacity-building exercises, networking, and collaborative projects with ECFG members. The fellowship will kick off with an in-person gathering at ECFG’s Annual General Meeting in Nairobi, Kenya, providing fellows with valuable opportunities for connection and learning.
