Are you a non-EEA student aspiring to study in the Netherlands? The Erasmus University NL Scholarship might just be the opportunity you’ve been looking for. Financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, as well as Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences, this scholarship aims to support excellent non-EEA students enrolled in English-taught degree programs in Holland.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• You are a national of a non-EEA country (not holding an extra EEA nationality) and thus, required to pay the institutional tuition fee.
• You have never been enrolled as a full degree student at an educational institution in the Netherlands.
• You have not obtained a diploma from an educational institution in the Netherlands.
• You are accepted or will be accepted for one of the bachelor programs offered by Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences (ESSB).
• You demonstrate excellence through your academic record, with an average grade equivalent to a Dutch grade of 8.0 on the Dutch grading scale of 1 to 10.

Scholarship Details: The Erasmus University NL Scholarship ranges from €5,000 to €10,000 and is awarded in the first year of studies. However, please note that this scholarship does not cover full tuition fees.

Application Procedure: Applications for the scholarship open on November 1st, 2023, and must be submitted before May 1st, 2024, through the EUR Admissions Portal. Along with the application, candidates are required to submit a one-page motivation letter answering two questions:

1. Why do you need the scholarship?
2. Why should you be considered an excellent applicant?
