For 25 years, Mozilla has championed the internet as a global public resource, advocating for openness, agency, and accountability. Now, we’re inviting passionate individuals to join our Senior Fellowship Program and contribute to building a more ethical, responsible, and inclusive digital environment.
Why Mozilla Senior Fellowships?
At Mozilla, we’re committed to addressing the impact of technology on society, particularly concerning issues like oppression, marginalization, and injustice online. Our Senior Fellowship Program brings together experts from diverse backgrounds to advance trustworthy AI and promote an internet that benefits everyone.
Focus Areas for 2024
We’re looking for up to 10 Senior Fellows who are dedicated to making trustworthy AI a reality. Specifically, we’re interested in projects that align with our focus on:
- Partnering with civil society to promote trustworthy AI.
- Including historically marginalized communities in AI design.
- Supporting open source and community-driven approaches to AI.

Selection Process
Fellows will be chosen based on the strength of their proposals and alignment with our focus areas. Reviewers will include Mozilla staff, fellowship alumni, and experts in the field.
