ACU Gender Grants are an annual opportunity for member universities to secure funding for projects, workshops, and events aimed at fostering gender equity and equality within their institutions. From empowering women in leadership to raising awareness of sexual harassment, these grants cover a wide range of impactful initiatives.
What Projects Are Supported?
- Supporting women in leadership roles
- Raising awareness of sexual harassment and developing anti-sexual harassment initiatives

- Mainstreaming gender equity into the curriculum
Exciting Partnership: In collaboration with the Martha Farrell Foundation, ACU is pleased to offer three additional Gender Grants specifically focused on developing anti-sexual harassment policies and strategies. These grants, open to staff members of ACU member universities in Africa and Asia, include valuable online training and ongoing support from the Martha Farrell Foundation.

- Thirteen awards of up to GBP 1,000 to support the costs of organizing gender equity and equality projects.
