Seeking Fulbright Application Reviewers: Shape the Future of Teacher Exchanges!

Are you passionate about education and international collaboration? Here’s your chance to play a crucial role in the Fulbright Teacher Exchanges for the 2024-2025 cycle! IREX, on behalf of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA), is actively seeking qualified professionals to join as application reviewers.

Reviewer Responsibilities: As a reviewer, you’ll assess program applicants based on predefined criteria and guidelines provided by IREX and approved by ECA. This involves reading, evaluating, and scoring 20-40 applications via IREX’s online system. The review periods, spanning 2-4 weeks each, will take place between March 2024 and August 2024. Following the review, you may be invited to participate in a live 2-hour virtual nomination panel to discuss applications and make nomination decisions.

How to Apply: If you’re ready to contribute to this impactful initiative, complete the brief online application via the link below. Application reviewers will receive a $250 honorarium for their valuable time. Only selected individuals will be contacted by IREX.

Ideal Reviewers: We encourage professionals with diverse backgrounds, especially those with experience in primary or secondary education, international education, exchanges, international development, and youth development, to apply. Specialized expertise in areas like social-emotional learning, climate change education, media and digital literacy, TEFL, STEM, or teacher training is highly valued.
