The World Economic Forum is offering an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals to join its Spring 2025 Early Careers Programme. This six-month, full-time programme is based in Geneva or Beijing and provides participants with the chance to gain real-world experience while contributing to the Forum’s mission of improving the state of the world.

Programme Overview

The Early Careers Programme is designed to bring fresh ideas and vibrant energy into the Forum’s global team. With over 1,000 employees from more than 100 nationalities across six offices, the Forum offers participants the unique chance to influence systems-level change, build communities of action, and develop a broader global perspective.

This programme is ideal for recent graduates of bachelor’s or master’s programs who have 1–2 years of professional experience.

Key Details

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Locations: Geneva or Beijing
  • Start Dates: Between 15 March and 15 April 2025
  • Compensation: CHF 4,500/month (Geneva) or CNY 11,565/month (Beijing)
  • Work Authorization Support: Available for Geneva-based roles only

Functional Areas and Thematic Focus

Participants will gain hands-on experience in specific functional areas, including:

  • Community and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Project, Content, and Policy Management: Conduct research, manage projects, and develop content to support initiatives and partnerships.
  • Data and Analytics: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support strategic planning and research.
  • Technology Innovation and Digital Success: Advance digital strategies and technological solutions for impactful global collaboration.

You will apply these skills within thematic areas such as:

  • Forum Centres (e.g., Cybersecurity, Energy, Health, Climate, Geopolitics)
  • Industry Engagement
  • Organizational Enablement (e.g., Finance, IT, Public Affairs)
