Programme Overview
The Migration Management Diploma Programme (MMDP) is a specialized, full-time course designed for government officials and policymakers actively engaged in migration and asylum matters. Spanning three months from March 10 to May 28, 2025, in Maastricht, the Netherlands, this immersive programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, emphasizing Problem-Based Learning (PBL) as a core method.
Participants will engage in a dynamic learning environment that includes lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on practical exercises. The course is crafted to equip attendees with essential skills in migration management, such as effective articulation and presentation, while also providing deep insights into the latest developments in the field.
Networking and Field Trips
Beyond classroom learning, the MMDP offers invaluable networking opportunities through field trips across Europe. These excursions include visits to Dutch Ministries in The Hague, EU institutions in Brussels, and intergovernmental agencies such as the UN in Geneva. These experiences are designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of migration management from national, regional, and international perspectives.

The MMDP is structured around three core courses, each lasting four weeks:

- Migration Policy
