Introduction: Join us for an empowering opportunity to enhance your skills in Transitional Justice & Reconciliation (TJ&R) and engage with the African Union Transitional Justice Policy (AUTJP). This training is tailored for women leaders from national and sub-national Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) across the Horn of Africa and Great Lakes regions.

- Dates: 21 – 25 October 2024
- Location: Nairobi, Kenya
- Organizers: Life & Peace Institute (LPI), Center for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR), Institute for Justice and Reconciliation (IJR)
- Focus Areas: TJ&R, AUTJP implementation, peacebuilding
Objective: Empower African women to lead TJ&R initiatives in their communities, fostering sustainable peace and social cohesion.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Women from Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda
- Age 25-39
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in peacebuilding, TJ&R, or dialogue initiatives
- Women with disabilities and indigenous women encouraged to apply
