Global Model WHO 2024: An Immersive Health Diplomacy Experience

The World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) are thrilled to announce the first in-person Global Model WHO. Set to take place from October 29 to November 1, 2024, at the WHO Headquarters in Geneva, this conference promises to be a pivotal event for those passionate about global health issues. This unique event invites participants to collaborate on pressing health challenges and interact directly with WHO experts.

Tackling Current Global Health Issues

The Global Model WHO will feature committee simulations designed to address critical global health issues. Participants will engage in discussions and negotiations, mirroring the processes undertaken by real WHO ambassadors. The committee sessions are divided into high school and university levels, each focusing on pertinent health topics.

Visa and Invitation Letter Information

Participants are responsible for securing their visas to enter Switzerland. It is essential to consult your local embassy or consulate to determine the necessary visa category. The WHO and WFUNA cannot assist in the visa procurement process. However, upon completing registration and payment, participants can request a Letter of Invitation to aid in their visa application. Note that this is not a visa letter.
