About the Internship

As an intern on inclusive and sustainable trade with UNDP, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this transformative agenda. Over the course of a two-week internship, you will:

  • Conduct research on intra-African trade and investment.
  • Provide technical inputs to briefing notes, project reports, and presentations.
  • Support coordination of initiatives aimed at enhancing market access for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
  • Contribute to the organization of public engagements aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of trade and regional integration.

Institutional Arrangement

You will report directly to the Regional AfCFTA Specialist under the guidance of the Regional AfCFTA Advisor. This structure will provide you with mentorship and support as you navigate your internship experience.

Required Skills and Experience

To be eligible for this internship, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Law, International Business, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Strong research and drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English.
