Chief Executive Officer, Girls Leadership (Remote, US-Based)
Empowering the Next Chapter: Girls Leadership Seeks a Visionary Chief Executive Officer
Carrington Talent Group is managing a nationwide executive search for the next Chief Executive Officer of Girls Leadership, a national nonprofit dedicated to the social and emotional development of girls and gender-expansive youth. Operating at a pivotal inflection point, this fully remote, US-based leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to steer a $2 million organization toward expanded national impact, programmatic depth, and long-term financial sustainability.
About Girls Leadership
Girls grow up hearing that their voices are too loud and their power should be managed rather than celebrated. Girls Leadership challenges this paradigm by equipping the adults who shape girls’ daily lives—teachers, coaches, counselors, and family service providers—with the tools to build environments where girls learn to use their voices, trust their power, and lead authentically.
The organization’s unique model relies on three core pillars:
Working through influential adult multipliers across classrooms, teams, and communities.
Centering social-emotional learning (SEL) as the foundation of all curricula.
Co-designing programs first with marginalized girls to ensure solutions serve every girl effectively.
