Resilient Coders Fall 2026 Fellowship: Apply for a Free Full Stack Engineering Bootcamp and Launch Your Software Engineering Career
Resilient Coders is now accepting applications for its Fall 2026 Full Stack Engineering Fellowship, a fully funded, intensive software engineering training programme designed to prepare talented individuals from underrepresented backgrounds for high-growth careers in technology.
The fellowship is completely free of charge and offers participants an opportunity to gain practical software engineering skills, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, collaborate with peers, and build a strong foundation for employment in the tech industry.
For over a decade, Resilient Coders has helped participants launch successful careers at leading companies such as Audible, CarGurus, Accenture, Liberty Mutual, and many other technology-focused employers.
Interested applicants must first submit an Interest Form to gain access to the official Fall 2026 application.
The extended application deadline is July 10, 2026.

Community Mentor Sessions

Applicants should note that additional programme expectations exist beyond the scheduled class hours.
Who Can Apply?
Priority consideration is given to applicants who:
- Are between 18 and 35 years old.
- Come from low-income households based on HUD guidelines.
- Are passionate about software engineering.
- Are ready to commit to an intensive learning experience.
- Are eager to build a long-term career in technology.
Individuals over the age of 35 are still encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Live in:
- Greater Boston
- Greater Philadelphia
- Maine
- New York
- Hold at least a High School Diploma or GED.
- Not possess a Master’s degree or higher.
- Meet the programme’s low-income eligibility requirements.
- Commit to the full programme schedule.
Application Process
Applicants should carefully complete each stage of the selection process.
Step 1: Watch the Introduction Video
Prospective applicants begin by watching the one-hour HTML introduction video.
Step 2: Submit an Interest Form
Submitting the Interest Form allows applicants to:
- Receive recruitment updates.

- Receive important reminders and deadlines.
Applicants are encouraged to monitor their email after submitting the Interest Form.
Step 3: Complete the Official Application
Applicants should prepare:
- An updated resume.
- A LinkedIn profile.
Applications must be completed before the deadline.
Step 4: Complete the Responsive Web Design Course
Applicants are encouraged to complete the Responsive Web Design course available on freeCodeCamp.
This course provides foundational knowledge that prepares participants for success during the fellowship.
Step 5: Participate in a Hackathon
Eligible applicants will receive an invitation to participate in a required coding hackathon.
During the hackathon, participants will:
- Work in teams.
- Build a website.
- Collaborate with alumni facilitators.
- Demonstrate coding skills.
- Learn about the student experience.
Participation in the hackathon is a mandatory part of the application process.
Step 6: Interview
Semi-finalists will be invited to participate in an interview with a member of the Resilient Coders programme team.
Step 7: Paperwork and Onboarding
Finalists will submit documentation verifying:
- Age
- Address
- Financial eligibility
- Employment authorization
Following successful onboarding, participants will prepare to begin classes.
