The Victorian Government has officially opened applications for the Future Ready 2027–2028 Program, a major funding initiative designed to support secondary school students in Victoria through education, leadership, mentoring, employment readiness, volunteering, and personal development opportunities.
The program offers funding between AUD $24,000 and AUD $168,000 to eligible government schools, not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises working to help young people achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Future Ready is focused on empowering Victorian secondary school students with practical experiences, leadership opportunities, and pathways into education, training, employment, and community engagement.
Applications are currently open and will close at 1:00 PM on Friday, 26 June 2026.
About the Future Ready Program
The Future Ready 2027–2028 Program is a two-year funding initiative that supports projects and activities aimed at improving outcomes for secondary school students across Victoria.
The program is aligned with the Victorian Government’s broader youth development strategy and focuses on helping young people become:
