TechCongress Summer 2026 Internship: Gain Paid Experience in Tech Policy and Congress

About the Program

TechCongress is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between the technology sector and the United States Congress. Through its flagship Congressional Innovation Fellowship, the organization places technologists in legislative offices to strengthen policymaking capacity and ensure informed decision-making on complex technological issues.

The Summer 2026 Programs Intern will work closely with TechCongress staff and fellows, contributing to the coordination and delivery of fellowship programming. This includes supporting events, conducting research, and engaging with policy discussions relevant to technology and governance. The internship is full-time (40 hours per week), paid at $19 per hour, and requires in-person participation at least two days per week in Washington, D.C.

Applicants must be based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including D.C., Maryland, or Virginia, for the duration of the internship. Since the role requires in-person participation at least two days per week, remote participation is not available.
