What Trainees Will Do

Main Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing Daily Press Reviews
Trainees will monitor and summarize relevant media coverage concerning Canada, the European Union, and international affairs. - Supporting Research and Reporting
Participants will assist with research and reporting on current topics affecting EU-Canada relations. - Developing Social Media Content
Trainees will contribute to the creation of digital and social media content for the Delegation’s communication platforms. - Assisting Public Diplomacy Activities
Successful applicants will help organize and implement events, campaigns, and public engagement activities. - Supporting Coordination with EU Member States
The role involves collaboration with EU Member States on political, communication, information, and consular matters. - Drafting Diplomatic and Political Reports
Trainees may assist in preparing policy briefs, political updates, and diplomatic communications. - Performing Administrative Duties
Administrative responsibilities may include:- Protocol support
- Market surveys
- Tender drafting
- Infrastructure management
- Archiving
- Supporting Additional Tasks
Trainees may also undertake ad hoc assignments that support the Political and Administrative Sections of the Delegation.
