Apply Now: Human Rights Education Teacher Fellowship for Bay Area, California Teachers

The University of San Francisco School of Education and Cañada College are excited to announce the Human Rights Education (HRE) Teacher Fellowship for the 2024-2025 academic year. This fellowship is an exceptional opportunity for Bay Area public middle and high school teachers who are passionate about integrating human rights education into their classrooms.

Fellowship Overview

  • Program Duration: 2024-2025 school year
  • Target Audience: Bay Area public middle and high school teachers
  • Hosts: University of San Francisco School of Education and Cañada College
  • Focus: The fellowship, led by faculty from the International and Multicultural Education Department’s Human Rights Education Program, will provide strategies, resources, and mentorship for developing human rights education practices in middle and secondary school classrooms.
  • Stipend: Participants will receive a $500 stipend upon completion of the program.
