Ashinaga Internship Program
Ashinaga is a non-profit organization based in Japan, dedicated to providing educational and emotional support for orphaned students worldwide. Our internship program spans various departments and functions, allowing interns to choose from a wide array of fields within the organization. By leveraging the talents of intellectuals from around the globe, we aim to transform Ashinaga into a comprehensive, international NGO. To date, we have welcomed over 500 interns from more than 90 universities across several dozen countries.
Program Structure
The Ashinaga Internship Program offers two structures:
- Hybrid Structure: For interns based in Japan
- Remote Structure: For interns residing in other countries
Program Details
Dates: 7 October – 13 December 2024
Possibility of Extension: Based on performance and team needs, interns may extend their term from 20 January – 14 March 2025.
Interns will work with various teams at our HQ in Tokyo, guided by dedicated team supervisors. This arrangement helps interns gain transferable skills and insights into working at an international NGO. The program features a part-time flexible schedule (~20 hours per week), which will be decided in consultation with supervisors.
In addition to team-based projects, interns will participate in several program-wide online events to learn more about Ashinaga’s operations and interact with Ashinaga scholars.

2024-25年 秋冬インターンシップ・プログラム
あしなが育英会インターンシップ・プログラム
あしなが育英会は、世界中で病気や災害、自死（自殺）などで親を亡くした子どもたちや、障がいなどで親が十分に働けない家庭の子どもたちを、奨学金、教育支援、心のケアで支える日本を拠点にした民間非営利団体です。あしなが育英会のインターンシップ・プログラムには、さまざまな部門や機能が含まれています。インターン生は、様々な分野を選択することができ、世界中のインターン生と切磋琢磨しながら、「あしなが育英会」を国際的なNGOへと成長させたいと考えています。これまでに、世界数十カ国、90以上の大学から500人以上のインターンを受け入れてきました。
プログラム構造
あしなが育英会インターンシップ・プログラムでは、以下の2つの構造を採用します：
- ハイブリッド型: 日本在住のインターン生向け
- リモート型: 海外在住のインターン生向け
プログラム詳細
勤務期間: 2024年10月7日 – 12月13日
延長の可能性: インターン生の成績とチームのニーズに応じて、2025年1月20日から3月14日までの延長が可能です。
インターン生は、東京都にあるあしなが育英会の本部の部署に配属し、スーパーバイザーと呼ばれる担当職員から指導を受けながら、様々なプロジェクトに携わることができます。国際的な非営利団体の職場を体験し、仕事のスキルを身に付けることもできます。
インターン生の勤務時間はパートタイムとなります（週に約20時間）。勤務時間は柔軟に対応しますので、学校のスケジュールに合わせていただいても構いません。勤務スケジュールはスーパーバイザーと相談して決定します。
一般的なチームベースのプロジェクトに加え、インターンはプログラム全体のオンラインイベントに参加し、あしなが育英会の仕組みについて学び、また、あしなが育英会の奨学生と交流する機会もあります。
サポート
- 支援費: 1000円/活動日
- 交通費: 日本在住のインターンのみ
- 貴重な実務体験: 国際的な非営利団体で、多文化的な環境での貴重な実務体験
