Opportunity Alert: Youth Reentry Fellowship with AIR’s Youth Reentry Technical Assistance Center

Are you passionate about fostering equitable opportunities for young people, families, and communities? Join us as a Youth Fellow with the Youth Reentry Technical Assistance Center in partnership with the Federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.

Overview:

AIR is offering a unique three-year Youth Reentry Technical Assistance (YRTA) Fellowship Program, where two fellows will receive comprehensive training and professional development. The program focuses on integrating lived experiences into the juvenile justice system, aiming to provide meaningful youth reentry programming.

Responsibilities:

As a fellow, you will collaborate with the YRTA team, participate in meetings, events, and contribute to the planning and facilitation of training webinars. Your role involves developing resources, assisting in building connections with youth-led organizations, and co-leading the delivery of events to raise awareness about the importance of reentry services.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Experience with juvenile justice systems is a plus but not required
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and collaborate, solution-focused orientation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • The fellowship is a paid position with health benefits.
  • The fellows will work 30 hours a week.
  • Remote work within the United States is possible.
