Call for Application: Digitization and Credit Services for Micro and Small Agribusinesses in Uganda
About the Project:
The United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) is seeking applications for a project aimed at providing digitization and credit services to micro and small agribusinesses in Northern Uganda, Southwestern Uganda, and Karamoja.
UNCDF, in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP)-Agriculture Market Support (AMS) programme, is implementing a project funded by the Mastercard Foundation to create job opportunities for 90,500 youth in rural Uganda.
Value: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00
Objectives:
- Accelerate the digitalization of agribusiness MSEs
- Introduce digital tools for market linkages and access to financing
- Utilize digital data records to link businesses with financial institutions
Who Should Apply:

Expected Outcomes:
- Access to digitization tools for business improvement
- Affordable finance access for capital needs and business expansion
How to apply:
- Submit proposals through the e-investment platform
- Required documents: Technical proposal, Budget proposal, CVs of key personnel
Important Notes:
- UNCDF will sign a Performance Based Payment Agreement with the successful applicant(s)
- No advance payments will be made
- Grantees are responsible for providing comprehensive financial reports and maintaining supporting documents
