Main Responsibilities

The Communication and Cultural Officer will undertake a wide range of duties designed to strengthen Denmark’s diplomatic presence and cultural engagement in Ghana.

1. Support Cultural Projects and High-Level Events

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead planning and execution of cultural projects
  • Organize and coordinate high-level events
  • Support official visits and diplomatic engagements
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen Denmark’s image and visibility in Ghana and neighboring accredited countries

2. Manage Media and Public Communication

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing communication materials
  • Drafting speeches and talking points
  • Preparing press releases and media content
  • Producing articles and public information materials
  • Supporting strategic media outreach

3. Oversee Digital Communication Channels

The officer will be responsible for managing:

  • The Embassy’s communication platforms
  • Official social media accounts
  • Website content and updates
  • Digital communication campaigns
  • Online stakeholder engagement initiatives

4. Build and Maintain Strategic Partnerships

The role requires close collaboration with:

  • Journalists and media organizations

5. Coordinate Cultural Activities
