Role Summary
The Communication and Cultural Officer will be responsible for ensuring effective and continuous communication on behalf of the Embassy while strengthening Denmark’s public image and cultural presence in Ghana and neighboring countries under the Embassy’s accreditation.
The role combines strategic communication, public diplomacy, stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and cultural project management. The selected candidate will work closely with Embassy staff, media professionals, cultural stakeholders, and international partners to showcase Danish priorities, initiatives, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake a variety of communication and cultural diplomacy functions, including:
1. Lead Cultural Programming and Events
The officer will plan, coordinate, and execute a range of cultural and diplomatic activities, including:
- High-level diplomatic events
- Official visits
- Seminars and conferences
- Networking engagements
