  • Hold a PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification (NQF Level 10)
  • PhD must have been obtained within the last five years
  • Must not have held a previous postdoctoral fellowship at the host discipline (preferred condition)

Research Competencies

  • Strong scholarly and research performance record
  • Excellent academic writing and communication skills
  • Proven research output or publications

Other Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time for the duration of the fellowship
  • Demonstrated interest in interdisciplinary research and societal impact
  • Preference for candidates with international collaboration experience
