The Commonwealth Students’ Association has officially launched applications for its highly anticipated 2026 Campus Ambassador Programme, inviting passionate and impact-driven students from tertiary institutions across Commonwealth nations to become representatives of student voices within their campuses and communities.

This prestigious opportunity is designed to strengthen grassroots student engagement, leadership development, advocacy participation, and institutional collaboration throughout the Commonwealth. Through this initiative, selected ambassadors will serve as a direct link between the Commonwealth Students’ Association (CSA) and students within their universities or colleges, helping to promote meaningful participation in student-centered programmes and campaigns.

The CSA Campus Ambassador Programme offers students an opportunity to develop leadership skills, build international networks, participate in advocacy initiatives, and contribute to shaping the future of student representation across Commonwealth countries.

About the Commonwealth Students’ Association Campus Ambassador Programme

The CSA Campus Ambassador Programme is aimed at empowering students who are passionate about leadership, student engagement, advocacy, and community development.

Selected ambassadors will become official student representatives of the Commonwealth Students’ Association within their institutions. Ambassadors will support the implementation of CSA initiatives on campus while mobilising fellow students to participate in activities, campaigns, and programmes that promote student empowerment and collaboration.

Responsibilities of CSA Campus Ambassadors

Students selected for the programme will play an active role in promoting the vision and activities of the Commonwealth Students’ Association within their institutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Promoting CSA programmes, initiatives, and campaigns within campus communities.
  2. Mobilising students to participate in leadership and advocacy activities.
  3. Supporting institutional engagement and grassroots mobilisation.
  4. Encouraging student participation in research and policy conversations.
  5. Acting as a communication bridge between CSA and students on campus.
  6. Assisting with awareness campaigns and student-focused events.

Who Can Apply?

The Commonwealth Students’ Association welcomes applications from students who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must currently be enrolled in a recognised tertiary institution within a Commonwealth country.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicants should be in good academic standing.
  • Applicants must be able to dedicate a minimum of five hours per week to CSA activities.
  • Applicants should demonstrate enthusiasm for advocacy, grassroots mobilisation, and student engagement.
  • Applicants should possess strong interest in leadership and community impact.

Importantly, prior student leadership experience is considered an advantage but is not mandatory. This means emerging student leaders with passion, commitment, and dedication are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Commonwealth Students’ Association has clarified that the Campus Ambassador role is voluntary and non-remunerated.
