Organized through a collaboration between Model AU–Ethiopia, the European Union Delegation to the African Union, and the African Union Commission’s Women, Gender and Youth Directorate (WGYD), the Summit Model is a flagship youth engagement event taking place from May 12–13, 2026.
Strategically positioned between Europe Day (May 9) and Africa Day (May 25), the event symbolizes unity, cooperation, and the central role of youth in advancing the AU–EU partnership.

The AU–EU Summit Model is a high-impact diplomatic simulation where participants assume roles such as:

- Be 17–30 years old
- Be a:
