The Jonica Foundation is recruiting County SRHR Ambassadors for its 2026 cohort.
This opportunity is designed for young women who are ready to lead conversations and drive change in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) within their communities.
About the Program
The SRHR Ambassadors initiative empowers young women to become advocates and educators on critical health and social issues affecting women and girls.
Ambassadors will:
Lead community conversations on SRHR topics
Raise awareness and educate peers
Advocate for better health outcomes
Engage in leadership and personal development
Focus Areas
Participants will work on key topics such as:
Menstrual health
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
Gender-Based Violence (GBV)
Contraception awareness
Menopause education
Who Should Apply
This program is open to:
Young women in universities and colleges
Residents of Nairobi, Kiambu, Narok, Homa Bay, and Kilifi (Kenya)
Individuals passionate about advocacy, health education, and community impact
