What’s the Opportunity?

The After-School Program Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless program launches for partner schools. Working cross-functionally with Sales and Operations, this specialist translates partner needs into clear, actionable launch plans and supports each stage of the implementation process. From kickoff calls and logistics coordination to documentation and handoff, you’ll ensure each program gets off to a strong start.

This is a remote position, with approximately 20% travel to school sites in California.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead program launches, serving as the primary logistical contact for internal teams and school partners.

• Conduct school readiness assessments to support site visits.
• Coordinate staffing, training, and supply logistics with internal teams.
• Document progress and implementation milestones in Salesforce and internal tools.
• Ensure smooth handoff from Sales to Operations once programs are live.
• Identify risks and resolve issues proactively to keep launches on track.
• Support Sales by evaluating how customized program requests may impact logistics and timelines.
• Contribute to refining implementation playbooks and onboarding resources.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, project coordination, or program management.
• Experience in education or youth-focused programs is a strong plus.
• High-level organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Salesforce (or similar CRM), and tools like Asana or Monday.com.
• Flexibility, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (primarily within California).

Preferred:

• Background in working with K–12 schools or education nonprofits.
• Understanding of after-school program funding such as E-LOP or Title I compliance standards.
