Together Women Rise Featured Grants Program 2026 – Empowering Women and Girls in Marginalized Communities

Together Women Rise is now accepting applications for its 2026 Featured Grants Program. The program supports organizations that empower women and girls in low-income and marginalized communities in the Global South. Each month, Together Women Rise highlights one grantee, promoting their work nationwide and providing educational resources to its membership network.

Funding Details

• Grant size: $35,000–$50,000

• Duration: 24 months

• Number of grants awarded annually: 12

• Grant cycle: May 6 – June 6, 2025

Use of Funds

Grants support capacity building, program expansion, or the development of new initiatives. Funding cannot be used for debt reduction, endowments, election campaigns, lobbying, or government entities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit or have a fiscal sponsor that is.

• Have operated in the Global South for at least 3 years.

• Maintain a budget of at least $100,000 per year.

• Have a majority-women leadership team.

• Align with Rise’s Gender Equality Beliefs and Religion and Sexual Health Policies.

• Not have received a Rise grant in the past four years.

Application Process

1. Eligibility Questionnaire: Complete a brief form to determine your eligibility.

2. Organization Profile: Eligible applicants will receive instructions to create an online profile.

3. Full Application: Includes IRS documentation, operating budget, Form 990s, and fiscal sponsor agreement (if applicable).

Timeline

• Application opens: May 6, 2025, at 9 AM ET

• Deadline: June 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET

• Notification of approved grantees: November 2025

• Notification of non-selected applicants: December 2025

Support Available

Two virtual office hour sessions will be held to assist applicants:

• May 15, 2025, 9:00–10:00 AM ET

• May 28, 2025, 2:00–3:00 PM ET

Grantee Commitments

Grantees must provide high-quality photos, a short video, impact stories, and progress reports. Participation in webinars and regular check-ins is required over the grant period.
