The Citi Early ID program is an exclusive 3-week virtual experience designed to identify, mentor, and hire top talent for Citi’s Summer Analyst programs across the firm. This intensive program provides aspiring students with the opportunity to develop their technical and soft skills through best-in-class training, personalized mentorship, and tailored interview preparation—all while positioning them for an accelerated chance to interview with Citi.

Who Should Apply:

We encourage current sophomores enrolled in a four-year baccalaureate degree program from an accredited institution to apply. Successful candidates will be selected based on a combination of academic achievements, extracurricular activities, campus leadership, and an interest in the financial services industry.

Citi is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion through its Early ID program. Students can choose to align with one of the following inclusion network tracks, creating a supportive community of mentors and peers. These tracks are open to all students, regardless of background:

  • Early ID Women’s Leadership Program
  • Early ID Veterans Leadership Program
  • Early ID Pride Leadership Program

Available Lines of Business:

Participants can apply to up to two lines of business within the Early ID Program. You’ll be considered equally for both business areas. Available business areas include:

  • Investment Banking – Houston, Chicago, New York
  • Investment Banking FIG – New York
  • Investment Banking FSG – New York
  • Investment Banking Healthcare – San Francisco
  • Investment Banking Technology – San Francisco
  • Corporate Banking – New York, Houston, San Francisco
  • Capital Markets – New York
  • Commercial Banking – New York, Houston, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago
  • Finance – New York
  • Internal Audit – New York, Mississauga
  • Human Resources – Tampa
  • Risk – Buffalo, NY
  • Markets – New York
  • Quantitative Analyst – New York
  • Services – New York
  • Treasury & Trade Solutions – New York
  • Financial Resource Management – New York

Important Guidelines:

  • Multiple Track Applications: If you wish to apply to more than one track, you must submit a separate application for each.
  • Business Area Applications: You can apply to up to two lines of business, but if you apply to more than two, you will be ineligible for the program.
  • Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on Monday, November 25th. After the application deadline, eligible candidates will receive a survey to select their desired tracks.
