Join the OSCE Academy’s Scholarship Programme(Fully-funded)

The OSCE Academy, established in 2002 by the Kyrgyz Government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), is a public foundation dedicated to promoting the principles and values of the OSCE through postgraduate education, professional training, research, and intellectual exchange.

For the 2025-2027 academic years, the OSCE Academy offers three Master’s Degree programmes designed for young professionals committed to advancing their education in various fields:

1. Master of Arts in Politics and Security (Central Asia) Programme (2025-2027)

• Application Deadline: January 31, 2025, at 11:00 PM (Bishkek time)
• Details: This competitive programme enrolls up to 30 students annually and focuses on political sciences, security studies, international relations, and conflict prevention. It requires full-time commitment and begins on September 1, 2024, lasting for 18 months. A preparatory Summer School will take place from August 5 to 29, 2024, in Bishkek.

2. Master of Arts in Economic Governance and Development Programme (2025-2027)

• Application Deadline: January 31, 2025, at 11:00 PM (Bishkek time)
• Details: This highly competitive programme also enrolls up to 30 students each year, targeting those interested in economics, international development studies, and good governance. The full-time programme starts on September 1, 2024, and runs for 18 months, with a mandatory Summer School from August 5 to 29, 2024.

3. Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences with Specialization in Human Rights and Sustainability Programme (MAHRS) (2024-2026)

• Application Deadline: January 31, 2025, at 11:00 PM (Bishkek time)
• Details: This new programme enrolls up to 20 students and focuses on International Human Rights Law, Good Governance, and Sustainability Principles. Co-financed by the European Union and implemented in collaboration with the Global Campus of Human Rights, this full-time programme also begins on September 1, 2024, and runs for 18 months, with the same Summer School requirements.
