Internship Information

When and How to Apply

Internships are posted on our careers site in October for the following summer period. The application window runs from October to December, with the deadline this year being December 1, 2024.

Internship Requirements

To qualify for an internship at Nintendo of America, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a graduation date between May 2025 and June 2026
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Be available to work 40 hours a week during the 11-week summer internship from June to August

Internship Duration

The internship will last for 11 weeks, running from June 16 to August 29, 2025.

Location

Internship positions are based in Redmond, WA, and will be 100% on-site.

Academic Credit

Academic credit may be available, but it is contingent upon your college or university’s policies. Please check with your school’s administration for details.

Compensation

Yes, interns will receive a competitive hourly wage and are expected to work 40 hours per week.

Academic Year Internships

Currently, Nintendo of America offers internships only during the summer; no positions are available during the academic year.

If you apply for the internship program and are not selected, you are still encouraged to apply for any full-time positions available on our careers site that align with your skills and experience.

Application Process

• Selection Process: All applications are reviewed against the internship requirements by our recruiting team. Selected candidates will undergo a first-round phone or video interview, followed by a final-round virtual video interview with hiring teams. Offers will be extended in January 2025.
• Application Deadline: December 1, 2024.
• Multiple Applications: You may apply to more than one internship role; however, you will only be considered for one position based on the best fit.
• Notification of Status: All candidates will be notified of their application status by February 2025.
• Canceling Offers: If you need to cancel or decline your internship offer, please inform your recruiter as soon as possible.
