About the Fellowship
The CAN Fellowship provides a unique platform for data science professionals to collaborate with host institutions and mentors on impactful projects. The fellowship includes hands-on project work, media training, and opportunities to present at local, regional, and international events, thereby building a robust network of data professionals dedicated to making a difference.

- Participants: 100-200 data practitioners over three years

Who Should Apply?
The fellowship is open to data science professionals who meet the following criteria:
- A completed first university degree
- Capacity for independent academic research and study
- At least three years of experience in data management, analysis, and visualization
- Strong communication skills and expertise in technology and data science
- A working knowledge of African contexts related to climate and health
