LIF Global 2025: Applications Now Open
The Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) Global is a program designed to support entrepreneurs with a technology prototype, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. Applications for LIF Global 2025 are now open and will close on 10 September 2024 at 2 pm (BST).
Program Overview
LIF Global empowers entrepreneurs making a positive impact in their communities through novel technologies. The program offers expert mentoring, training, and opportunities to build networks both in the UK and internationally. Participants can expect to:
– Identify business and personal development needs.
– Develop key technical areas with mentor support.
– Improve pitching skills with opportunities to pitch in London.
– Develop, scale, and fund their start-up.
– Integrate sustainability into their business plans.
Program Structure
The LIF Global 2025 program includes several phases:
– December 2024: Remote onboarding week.
– December 2024 – January 2025: Individual diagnosti sessions.
– January – March 2025: In-country training.
– January – June 2025: Remote mentoring.
– February – June 2025: Remote training.
– July 2025: UK residential program.

- Build partnerships and networks in the UK, in country and internationally
- Make sustainability an integral part of your business plan
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Must be citizens or residents of Brazil, Colombia, India, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, South Africa, Thailand*, or Vietnam.
2. Must have an innovation at Technology Readiness Level 4 or above, with evidence of a prototype.
3. The innovation should benefit the applicant’s country or other developing countries by improving social welfare and driving economic development.
4. Applicants must be the original innovator, own shares in the company, and have a strong interest in commercialization.
5. Must commit to at least 20 days of training and mentoring between January and July 2025, including travel for in-person training and the UK residential program in July 2025.
6. Must demonstrate fluency in English, as the program will be conducted entirely in English.
How to Apply
Applications are now open and must be submitted by 10 September 2024 at 2 pm (BST). The selection process includes two stages, with successful candidates from Stage 1 moving to Stage 2 by mid-September. The deadline to complete Stage 2 is 15 October at 2 pm (BST).
