The DTH-Lab is a global consortium of partners working to drive implementation of The Lancet and Financial Times Commission on Governing Health Futures 2030’s recommendations for value-based digital transformations for health co-created with young people.

Following the success of our first research fellowship programme, DTH-Lab is pleased to invite applications for a new cohort of fellows to work with us in 2025.

DTH-Lab’s fellowship programme offers students and early career professionals from low and middle-income countries opportunities to support a specific area of the Lab’s research or analysis. An important aim of the fellowship programme is to contribute to building the capacity of future health leaders to shape policy and governance issues related to the digital transformations of health.

In 2025, we are offering eight research fellowships focused on the following topics:

  1. Advancing solidarity-based data governance in the health sector
  2. AI governance for youth health and well-being
  3. Designing digital health solutions with and for young people
  4. Digital citizenship education for health
  5. Healthy digital diets: A review of existing guidelines
  6. The impact of digital determinants on nutrition
  7. Measuring meaningful youth engagement and impact
  8. Digital childhood profiles

The duration of these fellowships will be from April to December 2025. Fellows will receive a stipend for an engagement of up to 30 days of work and the successful delivery of agreed milestones.
