Launched in 2017, The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health is a premier international medical journal dedicated to advancing the health of children and adolescents. The journal publishes original research, insightful reviews, and compelling opinion pieces, aiming to promote health from the fetal period through young adulthood (up to age 24 years). For more detailed information about the journal and its editorial team, you can visit here.

About the Youth Advisory Panel

The Youth Advisory Panel is a distinguished group that complements our established International Advisory Board. Comprising eight young individuals aged 16-24 from varied backgrounds, the panel includes those with lived experiences of illness or disability, a strong passion for health advocacy, or a keen interest in global child health and rights. This role is purely advisory and unpaid, distinct from internships and without editorial responsibilities.

Panel members contribute by providing feedback on published content within their interest areas, suggesting suitable topics for the journal, and participating in podcasts and webinars. Typically, advisory board members serve a 3-year term and are granted a free online subscription to the journal during this period.

If you are interested in joining our Youth Advisory Panel, please fill out the form on the next page to tell us more about yourself.
