About RCOY Africa :
The Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY) is an annual event that brings together young leaders, activists, and change-makers from across Africa to address pressing regional and global climate challenges. RCOY is organized each year by YOUNGO ( Children and Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change ).  RCOY Africa serves as a platform for youth empowerment, collaboration, and advocacy, aiming to inspire and mobilize young people to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.At RCOY Africa, participants engage in a variety of activities including workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, and community projects. Topics often include but are not limited to sustainable development, social justice, environmental conservation, entrepreneurship, and human rights.
RCOY Africa 2024 will be in the Kingdom of Morocco

La Conférence régionale de la jeunesse (RCOY) est un événement annuel qui rassemble des jeunes leaders, des activistes et des acteurs du changement de toute l’Afrique pour aborder les défis régionaux et mondiaux urgents en matière de climat. La RCOY est organisée chaque année par YOUNGO (Children and Youth Constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).  RCOY Afrique sert de plateforme pour l’autonomisation des jeunes, la collaboration et le plaidoyer, dans le but d’inspirer et de mobiliser les jeunes pour qu’ils conduisent des changements positifs dans leurs communautés et au-delà .
Lors de RCOY Africa, les participants s’engagent dans une variété d’activités, notamment des ateliers, des discussions de groupe, des séances de réseautage et des projets communautaires. Les sujets abordés comprennent souvent, mais sans s’y limiter, le développement durable, la justice sociale, la conservation de l’environnement, l’entrepreneuriat et les droits de l’homme.
