The White House Internship Program for the Fall 2024 session is now accepting applications! This prestigious program provides an opportunity to work directly within the Executive Office of the President (EOP) and support the priorities of the Biden-Harris Administration. Here’s everything you need to know about applying for this exciting opportunity.

Application Details

  • Application Period: The application portal is open now and will close on Friday, April 5th at 11:59pm ET.

  • Key Dates: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so it’s encouraged to apply early. The program will run for 14 weeks from Monday, September 16th to Friday, December 20th, 2024. Notification of acceptance will be sent out the week of May 20th, 2024, with final offer letters expected to go out beginning the week of July 8th.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Fall 2024 session, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old before the first day of the program.
  • Education: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
    • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program.
    • Graduated from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program within the last two years.
    • A veteran of the United States Armed Forces with a high school diploma or equivalent, having served on active duty within the last two years.

Program Details

  • Location: The program will be held in person on the White House campus in Washington, D.C. Remote participation is not available.
  • COVID-19 Protocols: All interns must attest to their vaccination status and adhere to any White House COVID-19 protocols.
  • Stipend: Interns will receive a stipend of $750 per week for full-time participation (minimum of 35 hours per week) and $375 per week for part-time participation (15 – 34 hours per week).
