The application period for the Spring 2025 White House Internship Program is now open! The portal will close on Friday, July 26th at 11:59 PM ET. Don’t miss this chance to be part of an administration committed to reflecting the diversity of America.

Application Process for Spring 2025

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so it’s beneficial to submit as soon as possible. The portal opens on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, and closes on Friday, July 26th, 2024. The program runs for 16 weeks, starting Monday, January 27th, 2025, and ending Friday, May 16th, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be at least 18 years old by the program start date.
  • Meet one of the following:
    • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
    • Graduated from an accredited program within the last two years.
    • A veteran with a high school diploma or equivalent who has served on active duty within the last two years.

All internships are in-person at the White House campus in Washington, D.C. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

Program Details

Interns will receive a stipend of $750 per week for full-time participation (minimum 35 hours per week) and $375 per week for part-time participation (15-34 hours per week). Academic credit support is available.

Security and Health Requirements

Final acceptance is contingent on passing a background investigation and completing the Standard Form (SF) 86. All interns must disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status and adhere to any related protocols.
