African Youth Negotiators Fellowship 2024: Training Ghana’s Next Climate Champions

The African Youth Negotiators Fellowship, an initiative by the Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), is dedicated to equipping young Africans with the expertise needed for effective climate governance, diplomacy, and negotiations within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) processes. With increasing youth participation at UNFCCC Conferences of the Parties (COP), this fellowship aims to address the current limitations by providing targeted capacity-building opportunities.

Program Overview

Since its launch in 2022, the Fellowship has been instrumental in offering participants a thorough understanding of the UNFCCC process, including key negotiation tracks that influence COP outcomes.
