The challenge is endorsed by Ghana’s National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP) and supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

About the CircularEconomy4Ghana Innovation Challenge

The CircularEconomy4Ghana Innovation Challenge was created to empower innovators who are developing practical technologies and business solutions capable of transforming Ghana’s agricultural sector through circular economy principles.

Rather than focusing solely on innovation, the challenge aims to help entrepreneurs refine their technologies, validate their products, access commercial markets, and scale their businesses to create long-term environmental, social, and economic impact.

Participants will receive structured support that enables them to transition from promising ideas into market-ready businesses capable of serving farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural value chains across Ghana.

The initiative forms part of the CGIAR Food Frontiers & Security Science Program and MFL, supporting sustainable agriculture and innovation across developing economies.
