The United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office (UNRCO), in partnership with UN Women and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), is seeking applications for the position of UN Coordination Officer – Gender Equality and Youth Development based in New Delhi, India.

This full-time position offers experienced professionals the chance to work at the center of UN coordination efforts, supporting gender equality and youth development initiatives across the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) in India. The selected candidate will collaborate with multiple UN agencies, government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and international stakeholders to strengthen the implementation of sustainable development priorities.

About the Position

The Coordination Officer – Gender Equality and Youth Development will work within the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in New Delhi.

The role is jointly supported by:

Under the overall supervision of the UN Women India Country Representative and in close collaboration with the UNFPA India Country Representative, the successful candidate will report day-to-day to the Chief of Staff of the Resident Coordinator’s Office.

The position plays a strategic role in advancing gender equality and youth empowerment throughout the United Nations system in India.
