 What Does the Scholarship Offer?

Successful applicants will receive a comprehensive funding package, including:

  • 💷 Annual stipend: £21,805
  • 🎓 Full tuition fee waiver for 3 years
  • 📊 Annual research allowance: £500
  • 👩‍🏫 Opportunity to gain teaching experience (150 hours across years 2 and 3)

Beyond financial support, scholars will engage in impactful research that contributes to academic knowledge and real-world educational practices.

 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this PhD scholarship, candidates must:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree and a Master’s (MA) in Education or a related field
  • Demonstrate strong academic ability and commitment to research
  • Have experience working with children and young people (essential)
  • Show interest or background in community engagement, social or climate action, or education
  • Meet English language requirements (e.g., IELTS if applicable)
  • Be able to live in the UK within commuting distance of CCCU
  • Be available to start full-time in September 2026
