Based in Singapore, this paid, part-time internship places participants at the heart of one of Asia-Pacific’s most dynamic intellectual hubs.

About the Internship

The Carnegie China Young Ambassador Internship is designed to provide practical exposure to policy research and strategic communications within a globally respected think tank. Interns will work closely with experts and contribute directly to impactful projects aligned with Carnegie China’s mission.

Internship arrangements are flexible and may vary depending on organizational priorities and the candidate’s background. While primarily based in Singapore, remote participation may be considered for candidates eligible to work in Singapore.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students, or recent graduates (within two years of graduation)
  • Be eligible to work in Singapore
  • Demonstrate strong academic, analytical, or creative skills depending on the selected track
  • Submit a complete application (resume, cover letter, and writing sample or project pitch)

Note: Positions are highly competitive and limited.

Internship Tracks

Applicants must select one of the following tracks and tailor their application accordingly:

1. Research Track

This track focuses on:

  • Policy analysis and research projects
