Overview of the Scholarships
The University offers 15 scholarships for international students, including 5 specifically for students in Joint Programmes or INGENIUM Pathways. Scholarships cover the full duration of the degree programme and provide both financial and academic support.
Eligible Degree Programmes include:
- Bachelor in Economics and Finance
- Master in Psychology of Well-Being and Performance
- Master in Planetary Sciences
- Master in Health Professions of Rehabilitation Sciences
- Master in Building Engineering – Engineering Management of Cultural Heritage
- Master in Computational Cognitive Science
- Master in Economics and Management
- Master in Legal Sciences for Internationalisation and Business Innovation
Financial Support and Additional Benefits
Each scholarship provides:
- €6,000 gross financial contribution
- Full exemption from University fees, except for the regional fee (€140) and stamp duty (€16)
Additional support services include:
- Orientation and integration support for international students
- Access guidance for the University online system (MYPAGE Ud’A)
- Personalized reception, psychological support, and teaching materials for students with disabilities or specific learning difficulties
- Italian language courses
Important: Scholarships cannot be combined with grants from other institutions, including ADSU Chieti-Pescara, MAECI, CRUI, foreign governments, or private organizations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must hold a foreign qualification recognized for admission to the selected degree programme.
- Bachelor applicants require at least 12 years of schooling (special provisions exist for 10- or 11-year systems).
- Master applicants must hold a foreign academic qualification granting access to Master’s programmes.
Note: Transfers from other Italian universities are not allowed.
Application Process
- Register online
- Complete the registration and select:
“Evaluation test → Registration for the assessment test – call for applications – 15 scholarships for international students – 2026/27 a.y.” - Application period: 12 March – 20 April 2026, 23:59 (Italian time)
Required Documents:
- Valid passport/ID
- Curriculum Vitae
- Motivation letter (in English)
- Degree programme selection form (Annex 2)
- English language certificate (B2 level for programmes taught in English)
- Academic qualifications and official transcripts
- Declaration of Value or ENIC-NARIC Statement of Comparability
Note: Documents not in Italian must include a certified translation and legalization/Apostille.
Selection Procedure
- Applications are assessed by a University Committee based on academic qualifications (60 points) and CV/motivation letter (40 points).
- A final ranking will be published on the University portal.
- Tie-breakers: younger candidates first, then female candidates if needed.
Maintaining the Scholarship
Bachelor’s Degree: Students must acquire:
- Year 2: 30 ECTS by 31 October
- Year 3: 95 ECTS by 31 October
Master’s Degree: Students must acquire:
- Year 2: 48 ECTS by 31 October
Scholarship payments are made in installments upon meeting ECTS requirements. Failure to meet the required credits may result in suspension or revocation.
Acceptance, Renunciation, and Revocation
- Candidates must accept or waive the scholarship within 10 days of notification.
- Scholarship holders requiring a visa must follow the official visa procedure: Universitaly – International Students
- Withdrawal from studies or transfer to another university will revoke the scholarship immediately.
