Applications are now open for the Harmony in Diversity Fund 2026, a multi-year grant initiative designed to support community-based organisations working to promote social cohesion and harmony across Southeast Asia.

The fund is led by AVPN in partnership with the Temasek Foundation, Silent Foundation, and Nagulendran Philanthropy Alliance.

About the Fund

The Harmony in Diversity Fund aims to strengthen inclusive and peaceful societies by supporting organisations that foster understanding, collaboration, and unity across diverse communities.

This initiative focuses on empowering grassroots and community-driven solutions that address social fragmentation and promote long-term harmony.

Funding Details

Selected organisations can apply for grants ranging from:

$50,000 to $200,000

The funding will support projects over an approximate 2-year period, running through September 2028, allowing organisations to implement and scale impactful initiatives.

Priority Areas

Applicants should be working on innovative or scalable solutions in one or more of the following areas:

Promoting intercultural understanding
Strengthening collaboration across diverse communities
Building community capacity for harmony initiatives
Developing creative and innovative approaches to social cohesion

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, organisations must:

Who Is Not Eligible

The fund does not support:

Religious organisations
Politically affiliated organisations
Organisations on US/EU sanctions lists or blacklisted by international agencies

Review Period: May – July 2026
Grantee Announcement: August 2026
