About the Basic Outdoor Skills Program
Modern outdoor experiences often rely heavily on technology. This camp focuses on restoring foundational outdoor knowledge that helps participants stay safe, self-reliant, and fully present in nature.
Through practical sessions, guided activities, and reflective campfire exchanges, participants learn skills that are essential for both beginners and aspiring outdoor enthusiasts.
What You Will Learn
Participants will gain practical knowledge in:

Making fire and identifying suitable tinder and firewood

Finding and managing safe drinking water

Orienteering using a compass without electronics

Reading clouds and understanding basic weather patterns

Facilitator
Dominik Kron: An experienced outdoor guide with extensive experience across European forests and Southeast Asian jungles. Dominik is known for his calm, participant-centered facilitation style and is currently focused on empowering young adults through outdoor learning in Vietnam.
