2026–2027 Fulbright Teacher Exchanges Application Reviewers: Call for Applications (Honorarium available)
Are you an experienced educator or international education professional looking to contribute to a globally respected exchange program and earn an honorarium? Applications are now open for qualified professionals to serve as application reviewers for the 2026–2027 Fulbright Teacher Exchanges, with selected reviewers receiving a $250 honorarium upon successful completion of their responsibilities.
The Fulbright Teacher Exchanges are programs of the U.S. Department of State, funded by the U.S. Congress and administered by IREX. Through these professional learning programs, K–12 educators and school administrators in the United States and globally strengthen their educational practice while bringing international perspectives into their classrooms and communities.
About the Fulbright Teacher Exchanges Program
The Fulbright Teacher Exchanges program enables educators to:

The program supports both:

U.S. K–12 educators and administrators participating in outbound projects, and

International educators participating in professional learning programs in the United States.
Who Should Apply to Become an Application Reviewer?
IREX is seeking qualified professionals with experience in:

Primary and secondary (K–12) education

School leadership and administration

International education and exchange programs

Teacher training and curriculum development
Specialized expertise is especially encouraged in:

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals interested in global education, educator mobility, and international collaboration.
Application Review Responsibilities (2026–2027 Cycle)
Selected reviewers will:
-
Evaluate and score 20–40 applications (depending on program)
-
Use standardized scoring rubrics and guidelines provided by IREX
-
Conduct reviews via IREX’s secure online application system
-
Participate in month-long review periods between March and August 2026
-
Some reviewers may also be invited to a ~2-hour live virtual review panel
Honorarium for Reviewers
Each selected application reviewer will receive:
✅ $250 honorarium after successfully completing their assigned application reviews
✅ Professional engagement with a globally recognized exchange program
✅ First-hand exposure to innovative education initiatives worldwide
✅ Strengthened credentials in international education and program selection
Detailed instructions, training materials, and schedules will be provided to selected reviewers.
